The San Leonardo da Porto Maurizio retirement home is located in Monghidoro. The building was founded in 1984, was completely renovated in 2010 and offers a wonderful view of the Bolognese Apennines. Designed to accommodate 55 people in both single and double rooms, it is equipped with services that can make the stay comfortable even for people who are not self-sufficient.
what we do
The facility
It is made up of 5 floors and is completely accessible by wheelchair. All 28 rooms are equipped with bathroom, TV and call system.
Catering
In the basement are the kitchen, the pantry, and the large and bright dining room in which to eat.
Common areas
On the ground floor, there is a chapel, a living room and a doctor’s office. The third floor has a library and a fully equipped gym. You can also access the courtyard and the terrace from the ground floor.
Fees
Fees range from 1800 € to 2000 € per month for self-sufficient or non-self-sufficient people. The management can consider different solutions according to particular situations or family needs.
Rhythm of the Retirement Home
The day takes place by organizing recreational and scheduled activities in the common areas. A mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack, which consists of small snacks and cold or hot drinks punctuate the rhythm of the day. After lunch, if desired, guests are taken to their room for afternoon rest.
Rules
For the accommodation, the guest who is autonomous has to observe the basic rules of hygiene, keep in order their belongings, respect the schedules and silence during the rest. Visits are allowed every day from 8 to 22 in accordance with the times and rhythms of waking and resting guests. In case of need, the relative is welcome to stay 24 hours a day.
