Mental health home in Bologna
The S. Francesco Housing Community is located in the historic center of Bologna, inside an old 15th-century monastery of St. Catherine of Bologna. It offers hospitality to people with stabilized mental distress, over 18 years of age and under 65 years of age, supporting them in a welcoming and protected relational-housing context.
The facility provides a familiar and safe environment, with a large indoor cloister and green spaces where guests can spend time outdoors and enjoy recreational activities.

Catering
Food service at the St. Francis Home in Bologna is provided by the staff of the facility’s in-house kitchen. Breakfast is served until 8 a.m., lunch at 12 noon, and dinner at 6 p.m.
Relatives who wish to do so may stay for lunch, with prior notice to the kitchen staff. A snack is also provided, served in the afternoon to those who wish it.

Visiting hours
You can visit guests daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Visits after hours by prior arrangement.

Recreational activities are organized daily, and mid-morning and afternoon snacks are served.
Afternoon rest
After lunch, there is an optional rest time in the room.
